In 2019, Tomáš wrapped his stick in gaffer tape for the fourth time that month. Martin said out loud what they'd both been thinking for years: every grip on the market is the same shape, as if every player had the same hand.
They started cutting EVA foam in a rented workshop outside Brno. Measured fingers. Tried textures. Sanded, re-sanded, skated on it, broke it, started again. After eighteen months and — by their count — one thousand and seven failed sleeves, one of them finally felt right.
